A rejection

I don’t want you
In my mind
I don’t want you
Occupying my soul
I don’t want you here
So near to me
And yet
I don’t want you far,
Is this contradiction
Of unstable mind
Or love unconditional
Unbounded by reason
That
Will endure the distance
We have.

Once I was told
True love can’t be one sided
Unreciprocated!
Is it true
Or
Do you dispute?!

Perhaps I didn’t know you
I only saw my dream.

Once I was told
True love can’t be one sided
Unreciprocated!
Is it true?
